BlueGreen’s purpose is to maximize sustainability impacts in pursuit of the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
BlueGreen is a new and joint communications brand of English Editorial Services, s.r.o., a boutique firm established in Central Europe more than 20 years ago, and of Gale A. Kirking and Associates, based in Madison, Wisconsin. Kirking and Associates is the general partner of a socially responsible private investment partnership with a life sciences focus.
BlueGreen builds upon the life and professional experience and values of its founder Gale A. Kirking. Kirking’s long career has encompassed agriculture, journalism and communications, entrepreneurship, investment research and management, international development, scientific editing, and responsible investing.
With solid foundations in both the U.S. Upper Midwest and Central Europe, BlueGreen aims to serve clientele from both sides of the Atlantic. Deep knowledge of U.S. and European business environments makes BlueGreen a very capable partner and bridge to build and convey SDGs strategy, compliance, reporting, and communication.

Gale A. Kirking, CFA, MBA
Founder, senior copywriter, editor, and consultant
Through more than 45 years, Gale has worked as a journalist and author, investment analyst and director of research, scientific and corporate communications editor and copywriter, international development consultant, and entrepreneur. He established and manages a socially responsible private investment partnership oriented to the life sciences. A Chartered Financial Analyst, Kirking is preparing for the CFA Institute’s Certificate in ESG Investing exam.
Gale grew up milking cows on a family farm in Wisconsin, moved to Czechoslovakia in 1992, and has lived primarily in Europe since that time. He is keen on reading, gardening, hiking, and collecting great songs.
Mgr. Jiří Jež
Copywriter and online media manager
Jiří is an honors graduate in English Language and Literature and North American Cultural Studies from Masaryk University. Before joining us, he had acquired work experience at the European Commission in Luxembourg and Czech Republic Embassy in Mexico City. Within English Editorial Services, Jiří works in client relations, copywriting, translating, and social media management. He is presently the main creator of our bilingual Business Term of the Day feature.
Jiří has translated two novels from English to Czech, and his Master’s thesis examined Magic Realism in Contemporary Mexican Cinema. He enjoys tennis and running and is interested in photography and design.
